Colour profiles (ICC-Profile) are used for the unequivocal description/ characterisation of devices and thus of colour spaces. They allow the adjustment or conversion of colour data between different devices. It is possible to work with exact colour in all process phases through the use of colour profiles in connection with software solutions for colour management.
