Right on schedule, Janoschka Polska has launched production at its new facility in Łubna on April 1st. The new site offers a production layout of around 1,400 m², an increase of approximately 30%. Thanks to meticulous planning and implementation, production continued seamlessly throughout the move.
Previously, the production facility in Poland focused primarily on engraving gravure printing tools for flexible packaging. The change of site now means that the local portfolio can be expanded to include printing cylinders for the Special Carton business unit.
“First and foremost, the new production site will benefit our customers. The significantly larger surface area has enabled us to add more equipment, which means we will be able to increase our production by a third right away”, explains Mariusz Wojciechowski, Plant Manager Janoschka Polska. “In addition, technical upgrades across all production units and workflow optimisation in the graphics environment will contribute to further improvements. We can even increase production by a further 40% in the mid term.”
Customers of the Polish factory include corporations such as Mondi Group, Emsur and Amcor Group, as well as numerous local printers.
Fast, high-quality implementation and customer proximity are key factors for success in the printing tool production market segment. The prepress expert invested around €500,000 in the move and the new premises.
Janoschka Polska was the second Janoschka subsidiary to open outside Germany, serving local and regional markets with reproductions and electromechanically engraved gravure cylinders since 1997.
