For the third year running Heineken renewed their confidence in Sleever International to create their “collector” bottle design for the Heineken Jammin’ live rock festival in Venice during June 2011. The prize is awarded by a jury of professionals from the roto printing industry for the best designs in the rotogravure sleeve printing category. The jury was impressed by the technical complexity of the work Sleever carried out in the creation of the sleeve. They appreciated the finesse in the rendering of the composition, particularly the quality of the silver on the logo, its high gloss and the difficulty of processing an amalgam of different elements. This “collector” bottle was a big success with consumers and the three versions in black, green and white, have become much sought after by collectors. Heineken has found that the “sleeve” is an excellent publicity tool in keeping with the quality of the events it supports.
