General Terms and Conditions
  1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of the Janoschka Academy, a facility of Janoschka Holding GmbH, apply to all services, including instruction and/or training courses/sessions, practical training and information events such as open classes.
  2. Conclusion of contract
After the participant has enrolled, the contract is concluded only upon express confirmation from Janoschka Academy. This must be received by the participant at least 14 days before the event start date (depending on the time of his/her registration). For the participant, the enrolment is binding.
  3. Services
The scope of services is derived primarily from the contract, then from other service descriptions. Changes to the content or organisational aspects can be made provided this does not affect the core of the services and the changes were necessary. Working documents are included in the participation fee unless otherwise agreed.
  4. Terms of payment
The participation fee must be paid in full upon enrolment.
  5. Withdrawal
The Janoschka Academy is entitled to withdraw from the contract if a minimum number of participants specified in advance is not reached or if a maximum number of participants is exceeded. The Janoschka Academy also has the right to withdraw in cases of force majeure such as non-availability of the speaker(s). A right to withdrawal also exists should the operational interests of companies affiliated with the Janoschka Academy be compromised. In any case of withdrawal rights of the Janoschka Academy regulated herein, participant claims are limited to the refund of participation fees already paid.
  6. Alternative date
Instead of withdrawing, the Janoschka Academy is also entitled to specify an alternative date which must take the interests of the registered participant into account.
  7. Liability
For events in the premises of the Janoschka Academy or its affiliated companies, the Janoschka Academy shall be liable only for intent and gross negligence. This does not apply to loss of life, physical injury and damage to health.
  8. Cancellation and rebooking by the participant
If the participant does not attend the agreed event, he/she remains obliged to pay the agreed participation fee. Chronologically subsequent cancellation does not release the participant from his/her obligation to pay the fees in full.
