Finishing of printed products in packaging printing

The packaging of products, especially in terms of quality and appearance, has a huge influence on the buying behaviour of consumers. Packaging with blatant finishing stands out, but so does packaging with rather more discreet and elegant effects. Various technologies can be used, either during or after print production, to highlight particular areas of the packaging. This may involve shiny or matt colour surfaces (totally or partial), metallic effects, tactile effects, embossing or other 3D effects.
