Customer consultant qualification: Repro for gravure packaging printing

In pre-press, or repro, important foundations are laid for the success of the packaging. Based on the data from agencies or other pre-press companies, the technical structure and colour of the packaging is created, revised and corrected on the computer. During this stage, there are numerous parameters, guidelines, specifications and standards that have to be taken into account. The treatment of images presents a particular challenge as the customer will expect near-perfect conversion of the data from the agency in the subsequent printing process. Hence, it is important to simulate this process as effectively and as early as possible using a colour proof.

To get acquainted with the entire repro process, and to identify and find potential solutions for problems at an early stage. To recognise and avoid errors.
